The Power to Change Through Your Dreams!

Filed under: Education Resources — admin @ 1:30 pm

After having worked with dreams over the past 15 years, there is little doubt in my mind of the ability to cause change as a result of your dreams.

One lady, in particular, who attended one of my dream classes was haunted by a recurring dream of people being mutilated. This really was virtually a nightly occurrence for her. In my dream class I teach that people, and things, in your dreams represent aspects of you. It is important as well to understand that dreams are a reflection of one’s thinking. In her case, the mutilation-type thinking was something on a conscious level that she was experiencing, in her everyday waking state.

I came to the conclusion that she must be hard on herself, that she would beat herself up, “mutilate” herself, if you will, on a mental and emotional level. Interestingly, her friend had accompanied her to the dream class. When I said to the woman having the dream “You must be very hard on yourself!”, her friend shook her head in the affirmative. She knew exactly what I was talking about. Sometimes our friends can see us more objectively that we can.

This woman’s dream was prompting her to change, as all recurring dreams do. Once she understood that her dream was a result of type of thinking, she knew what to do. Instead of belittling herself, she began having more respect for herself.

Several months later, I met up with this woman again at another dream class I was holding. She told me that the mutilation dreams had virtually stopped. And now, when a dream presented a message to her, she sought to understand it. She sought to be an agent of change for herself.

We do create our reality through our thoughts and attitudes. Our dreams exist to make us more aware of how we are creating our lives through our thoughts. They allow us the opportunity to cause change in ourselves. If we are in a rut, our dreams will let us know about it. And the recurring dream is telling us that we are definitely in a rut.

Life is about change. There is a saying that if you change your thoughts, you change your life…and your dreams as well. Dreams are a wonderful barometer of where we are at on the path of life. Whether we are in harmony or anguish, the inner self will alert you to this through your dreams.

The power to change is within every individual. When you tap into the power of your dreams, it is like tapping into a best friend that tells you like it is. The ability to understand your dreams can alleviate years of heartache and misunderstanding. Had this woman not come to my dream class, she might still be having the recurring dreams. We are our own best “psychic.” No one knows us better than our inner self. Each morning upon arising, reflect upon your dreams. Were they pleasant or disturbing? That alone will alert you to what is going on within you. Your dreams only reveal truth about you. There is such power in that.

Strive to understand the universal meaning of your dreams and your will make great strides in gaining self-understanding.

Use your dreams for all they’re worth!

Warning: Today’s “Non Profit Credit Counselors” Are Yesterday’s Bill Collectors!

Filed under: Mathematicians Tips — admin @ 4:13 am

Here’s a dirty secret, today’s “non profit credit counselors” are often just front organizations paid lucrative commissions by creditors to keep consumers from declaring bankruptcy!

In the “debt collection biz”, creditors will sell your outstanding debt along with the debt of hundreds of others to a collection agency for cash up front.

The collection agencies will work this debt until they’ve made all the money they can.

Then they’ll keep selling this block of business to whomever will buy it.

This explains why you can stop being pestered by a bill collector for a while then a completely different bill collecting psychopath will start calling your house or sending you threatening letters out of the blue when you thought they were finished.

The Fair Credit Reporting Laws have put some damper on their crude activities, as have the bankruptcy laws.

But yesterday’s bill collectors have gotten wise.

If people go bankrupt, the creditors get virtually nothing.

So why not figure out a way to get people to voluntarily pay much more than they would otherwise by going through bankruptcy?

So today, yesterday’s bill collectors often masquerade as “non profit credit counselors”.

Business must be good for these “non profits” because they’re out on the internet paying $10 per lead for potential debt consolidation clients!

Their “come on” to the consumer is “Don’t declare bankruptcy! It will RUIN your credit and cost you money! Use our FREE service instead.”

There’s no such thing as a free lunch of course.

What unsuspecting consumers DON’T KNOW is that using these services may ruin their credit anyway.

And these “Free Services” are being paid handsome commissions on every dollar the collect from you!

Then they report exactly what they’ve done to the credit reporting firms and potential creditors in the future MAY consider you a potentially WORSE candidate than a formerly bankrupt person because if they extend you credit and you fall on hard times again, you stil have the option of going through bankruptcy!

Learn your rights.

It’s possible for ordinary people with a computer and printer to use the law to “lick bill collectors with a stamp!”

Without giving up your privacy, without having a credit counseling firm “rat” on you, it’s possible to achieve the same results that others have used expensive attorneys to achieve - when you know your rights!

Cleaning your credit report is something you can do.

Paying off debts for pennies on the dollar is something you can do.

New Innovations

Filed under: Product Management — admin @ 1:11 am

How do you produce ideas for new innovations? Here is a great technique: Extract some basic ideas from existing products and inventions, and then apply them to new areas.

If you look at a thermostat, for example, you might think “A device to control the indoor climate.” This is certainly an idea that can be used to come up with something new. You have to look a little deeper, though, if you want more creative innovations. Continue with, “It measures the temperature and then, using that information, turns the heater on or off, to keep the house comfortable.”

Continuing even deeper, we see that it uses measurement in order to control something. Let’s work with that concept. With the technology that exists today, we can make things happen automatically, according to almost anything we can automatically measure. This is a powerful concept that can and will lead to some fantastic new innovations.

In an article on thought control, I pointed out that since we can measure the changing activity of the brain as we change the nature of our thoughts, we can already build a device that is operated just by our thoughts. Even with the technology of thirty years ago, we could have had a TV turn on whenever one’s pulse rate increased. If you then trained yourself to increase your pulse rate by thinking certain thoughts, you could turn on a television with your thoughts.

Other New Innovations

To have many such ideas and new innovations, just look around and start applying the basic concept of control by measurement. Looking at the television, and thinking of measurable things related to it, time is an obvious one. There are “sleep timers” that turn the TV off after a certain amount of time, but how about a device that only allows the TV to be on for three hours in any given day? Kids can watch when they want, but they won’t be able to watch too much.

A thermometer gives me the idea for a sign that changes it’s message according to the weather. A restaurant, for example, could have the sign say “Come in out of the cold,” when it was cold, or “Cool off with an ice cold drink,” when it was hot, and so on. I’m sure there are other businesses whose messages would be variously more or less effective according to the weather.

When I look at the traffic, I see that speed can be measured. There are already those radar signs now, that tell you how fast you are going. There could be a sign down the road that says “Slow down, we’re taking your picture,” or the radar gun could turn on a fake siren whenever someone goes ten miles per hour over the limit. The idea is simply that their speed triggers something that will hopefully slow them down.

Yesterday I saw a new invention that measures your girth. So what does it do with that information? Well, if you hold your stomach in, you get clear sound in your headphones. If you let your stomach hang out, the music is low quality and loses volume. While I’m not sure how well this stomach-exercise-motivator will sell, it does show how using the concept of measurement to control can lead to very different innovations. In fact, any application of a basic concept to new areas can lead to new innovations.

before you

My life was not meant to be hazy. I came here for a purpose, a directness of higher learning. When I took my first breath, my sight was gone. My hearing faded, my thoughts became fuzzy. I became an infant of the universe and infinitesimal baby of life. I try so hard to remember my reason for this chance encounter with the world. I choose this existence…but why? I go thru the day-to-day playground of childhood re-learning the basics, always knowing there is a driving force behind my heartbeat. I need to learn, to know…to grow. My purpose will become clearer, my driving desire stronger the harder I look. Images flicker in my projector like memory. I have done all this before. What am I to learn that I don’t already know in the essence of my soul? I remember my mother universe and my father world as great lights in the beginning. I remember mother earth and father nature when I walked this world before. What am I waiting for? I have the seeds for eternity in my soul and I am about to set them in the soil to grow along the path of enlightenment, my reason seems clear now. I am meant to make a memory of the universe for the people I touch with my being. I am not quite done with this world, but when I am it is time to release the binding strings of this life. It is time to choose another lesson on this planet, I will see you all again, for another purpose of higher learning.http://www.originalpoetry.com/before

The (de)Evolution of English Language.

Filed under: Education Resources — admin @ 5:10 am

Never before in history has a single language been as widely used as English. The number of English users in Asia alone is more or less equal to the number of Native English speakers worldwide: 350 million, more or less the combined populations of the United States, Britain and Canada.

The advent of the Internet has boosted English even further, about eighty percent of the world’s electronically stored information is in English, and this widespread use of the language has caused an increase in the demand for English courses. An estimate by the British Council reports that today more than 1 billion people are learning English for work, study or leisure. China is strongly pushing English language in its schools, there are more Chinese children studying English as second language than there are Britons.

Those among the native English speakers who believe their language will soon be the standard for worldwide communication should think again:

Firstly, it can hardly be considered their language anymore, since the vast majority of English users are not native speakers. English is a living language and like all languages it evolves, it changes and adapts itself according to its environment and - especially - the cultural and historical background of its speakers, often mingling with idioms and linguistic structires of the local language. There is no longer one English, but rather various adapted forms of the language, often with dramatic changes in spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.

Secondly, the Internet fastlane is producing an even more interesting phenomenon, when one would imagine such a widespread resoure as the Web to become a solid reference for spelling and grammar, we are met with quite the opposite, English over the Net is evolving, or rather de-evolving towards a more simplified form.

More and more frequently we encounter what might look like harmless spelling mistakes, blogs, newsletters, chats and forums are full of them. At a closer look we might notice that some of these altered forms are consistent across the Web, in some cases we might encounter simplifications, such as there used indifferently as ‘there’ or ‘their’, or phonetic shifts, caused by the natural tendency to spell similar sounds the same way: thus unstressed _ent and _ant both sound the same and tend to be spelled _ant e.g. consistant Other changes might involve the tendency to either spell ’s no matter what grammar is involved, two chair’s or the opposite, its for ‘it is’ pronoun + verb or ‘its own’ possessive pronoun.

The result of this might be surprising and, for the purists, rather unsettling. If there ever is a common world language, it won’t look or sound much like English anymore. Current trends might produce a language with simplified grammar, she look chair, phonetic spelling ther is a tendansy to bad wether and foreign words Hungry kya ‘Are you hungry?’ a mixture of English and Hindi found in a recent ad for Domino’s pizza in India.

Being a living language, the de-evolution of English seems unstoppable, in a certain sense this is a signal of its good health and of its massive usage in today’s world. Only dead languages never change.

On Credit Card Instant Approval

Filed under: Mathematicians Tips — admin @ 4:17 am

Credit card applications nowadays have begun to provide clients with an instant approval feature. Meaning, the person applying for a credit card would easily know whether he or she is eligible for applying. This process of instant approval is basically used online or through the internet.

To be able to prevent confusion in dealing with a credit card instant approval, you should know these facts:

* The credit card instant approval and the credit card application are two different processes. The approval of your credit card does not necessarily mean that your card would be delivered to you as soon as possible. It only means that you are qualified to apply for the credit card. The credit card application will be your next step once you have been given the “go signal” by the bank.

* The instant approval of credit cards is made to target customers with good past credit records. Although because of the high credit market today, the banks are willing stretch their limits and offer this program to different kinds of people. This may depend on the bank you’re applying the credit card on.

* Majority of banks provide customers with a credit card application form online. These credit card companies make use of this program with secured connection software for your information’s protection.

* The information you need to give for your credit card’s instant approval include: your name, your current address, your social security number, and if there are previous address you may have over the years. This is the most common information asked on the instant approval feature of the banks.

* The main advantage of getting a speedy approval for your credit card applications is the elimination of the major trouble caused by guesswork on whether the company thinks that you deserve a card or not more instantaneously. Unlike the old-fashioned way when you have to visit a bank in person and ask if you’re qualified then knowing you’re not, this time it’s a lot more convenient.

* The approval of your credit card online would only take you a few minutes to know your evaluation. It would be your choice to continue your credit card application.

And lastly, when you have been approved on your credit card application, don’t just go splurging thinking that instant approval also means instant money. Instant approval is more tantamount to instant debt. Think about it.

Cash Back Credit Cards - Solutions With “Catches”

Filed under: Mathematicians Tips — admin @ 8:25 pm

Cash back credit cards are now being made available in a variety of new options. However, it is important for consumers not to skip over the process of researching all details of a card before applying. Cash back credit cards, although useful credit card solutions, also frequently carry with them several “catches” (targeted reward categories, high credit necessary to apply, potentially capped rewards) that consumers need to inform themselves about in order to maximize their effective use of the cards.

In a world of rising gas prices and falling employee compensation, it’s more true than ever that a small amount of cash can go a very long way. This, at least, is the logic behind the variety of new cash back credit cards that now flood the market from many major providers. These cards offer a number of different cash back plans for several types of purchases: cash back for retirement, for charity, for affiliate products. All are designed, at least in part, to encourage credit card use by returning some percentage of the purchase price to the consumer at the end of the year. It sounds like–and can be–a good deal, the literal truth of the classic adage “spend money to make money.”

But in addition to the good deal, cash back credit cards carry with them hidden hooks and lines. The card application always lists these plainly, but customers who just want to cash in on the promise of quick percentage rewards can often overlook the most crucial caveats of all. More savvy customers, however, should ask themselves maybe the most important question anyone can ask when considering a new credit card: what’s the catch?

The first catch is that the high-end cash back rewards don’t usually apply to entertainment, housing, or luxury items. Since these make up a large portion of most people’s paychecks, anyone who believes that a hypothetical 5% cash back guarantee will apply to everything purchased with that cash back credit card will be in for a rude surprise. The higher fees are typically targeted toward fundamental goods in our society: supermarket purchases, drugstore runs, gasoline. Most of the best cash back credit cards offer a flat 1% fee on other purchases, which can be substantial by the end of a year, but still possibly not what the customer who only glanced through the brochure expects.

Another big catch is the high credit rating necessary to get one’s hands on any of the best cash back credit cards. The most popular cards all require at least a good credit rating, with many asking for excellent. The effect of this is to push the target market of typical cash back credit card consumers toward two groups: first-time credit card applicants and the very financially prudent. And it is a nice bonus for people with good credit (or at least no bad credit) to be able to earn typically 1% of the purchase of price back on most goods, but for anyone in dire financial straits looking to put together some extra money through cash back rewards, it would be wise to look elsewhere.

The biggest catch of all, though, is that the promised rewards may run out sooner than the uninformed customer thinks. Depending on the individual card, percentage rewards in some cases only apply after a certain amount of money has already been charged to the card in a given year ($2000 and up, in the low range), or more alarmingly: rewards may stop applying after a certain amount of money has been put toward the products that generate the highest percentage of rewards ($1,200, to quote one of the high figures.) If a customer spends a large amount of money on fuel in a year, expecting cash back options to alleviate some of the sting of current high gas prices, that customer may find the rewards less rewarding. In some cases, the number of cash back rewards earned through using a cash back credit card can even be capped at a certain figure, at which point what the customer has left is just a credit card like any other.

So yes, the percentages sound good, initially, and do help to offset typical expenses. But, as always, it’s wise to look carefully at the fine print of an agreement before signing, and to remember that there is no hook without a string attached. Cash back credit cards can be a powerful tool for consumers to get something back for what they put into the economy, but without informing themselves and doing the research, they may just find themselves caught up in trouble of their own making.

Is Using A Credit Repair Agency Legal?

Filed under: Mathematicians Tips — admin @ 2:12 pm

Is using a credit repair agency legal? Yes, but the government and the three credit bureaus like to muddy the water on this issue, and they’re partly correct. There are a tom of companies, people, and websites that say they can repair your credit and MOST of them are scams that will only leave you pockets a little emptier. Before using any credit repair company you should do and exhaustive research about what they are offering, how they are offering it and what (if any) are their guarantees. Be leery if ANY company offering you a new credit file, Perfect credit or some “Pie-in-the-sky” timeframes. Credit repair takes time, but with the right firm, that time can be shortened drastically.

Credit repair agencies are normally (though not always) unable to clean your credit. My initial search on repairing my credit was with one of these agencies. They charged me $29 and said my credit would be perfect within three months. Three months later I was out of $29 dollars and my credit was exactly the same. I was angry and disappointed to say the least. Ohh… and the agency mysteriously disappeared… no website, no number, nothing!

It took a while before I finally stumbled upon a “firm” that looked legitimate. I did extensive research and then waited another year before I actually signed up. The difference with this “firm” is tat they were a real legal firm that had tons of proof to back up their amazing clams. I followed their instructions (though I did so half-assed) and six-months later my score had jumped substantially and I had numerous items on all three of my reports from each bureau deleted. I used them for two more months before it became evident that they had done all they could. While they “cleaned” my credit, that was just the beginning to getting my score to the point it’s at now.
