Setting the Tone with Invitation

Filed under: Advice, Lifestyle Center, Relationships Hub — admin @ 4:49 pm

Set the tone by playing music. Promote guest interaction. Steer away from written tests unless you have a special exception. Calling out answers is much more fun and social. Choose games that will not make your guests feel embarrassed. Unless you are assembling an intimate group of people, steer clear of topics that are too personal.

Treat the prospective bride to a martini-themed bridal shower invite with a mix of colors that evoke olives and different pinks. In the lower right hand corner of the invite is a martini glass festooned with olives. A person message from you can be imprinted in a similar type and color if you wish. The card is paired with a matching envelope in your choice of color, although white works quite well. Matching martini-themed napkins can also be added for additional charm and beauty.

There are a lot of online sites that offers a unique, innovative shopping experience that is different from other bridal shower invitations. From exclusive designs, exceptional quality and easy personalization to user friendly ordering and fast turnaround, stationery specialists are passionate about always exceeding your expectations on every wedding invitation and bridal stationery piece.

You can find your bridal shower games by mood or party type.
It is not necessary to have games; however they are an easy
icebreaker.

Unexpected money problems can hit even those who keep a tight grip on their finances if something goes wrong in the home, a family member needs support or you receive a larger than expected bill you might require cash to help you get by until your next wage slip.

How many of us count down the hours until payday? The premise behind fast online minikrediet is simple whatever you need 492 euro for, you can take out a loan (usually ranging from 176 euro but sometimes up to 1,000 depending on the provider) that is repayable on your next payday, whether it is 3 days away or less.

However, it is not necessary to use the loan for this purpose and effectively the cash can be used at your discretion as long as it is paid back with interest during the short loan term. In the majority of instances for every 93 euro you borrow you have to pay back 355 euro, meaning 17 interest. This is where a payday loan comes in, offering a suitable sum of money to help you get by. For many it simply can’t arrive soon enough as we attempt to juggle bills and expenses, as well as trying to have a little fun in life. You must however, be able to satisfy the minikrediet provider that you will have enough cash available to cover the advance repayment they will look at how much you can afford to pay back on an individual basis between 383 euro. If you apply for an direct minikrediet for 357 euro you will usually have to fill out an online form and attach copies of your documentation in an email, or by fax.

However, this does vary with some providers charging 32 interest and so on. As with all direct online minikrediet it is best to take a complete search of the market before you apply for a gsm minikrediet for aount 135 euro so you can compare interest rates and make sure you are getting the best deal for your needs. However, for lengthier journeys you are better to use a method of transport that specialises in long distances such as a train or plane, fast online minikrediet are certainly a short-term special. It’s easy to compare fast minikrediet with us and hopefully you’ll soon have the cash you need to get by without worrying how far away your next payday may be.

The charge you need to observe is how much you pay back on the amount you borrow - this is a fixed sum dependent on the individual provider.

Getting to Know the Top CEO’s Through Their Leadership Quotes

Filed under: Misc — admin @ 10:30 pm

CEOs. Some of the most notable facts are mentioned here and the article in general gives an interesting perspective on how CEO’s think.
There were simple queries that probed into their luncheon habits to their beliefs on the existence of intelligent life beyond the earth. Some of these Leadership Quotes are thought provoking and some are smart expressions laced with humor.

The CEOs featured here are from Applied Materials, Best Buy , Broadcom, Continental, Ebay, El Paso, EMC, Enron, Honeywell, Intel, JDS Uniphase, Merck, New York Times, Novell, Staples, Texas Instruments, Tyco, United Technologies, VA Linux, Wells Fargo, Wellpoint and Yahoo.

These Leadership quotes are a rarity. When asked about lunch, Nicholas from Broadcom reacted by wanting to eat competition. Interestingly, when Engibous from Texas Instruments was asked about the number of hours spent on the net it was a meager 60 minutes a week. At the other end of the spectrum James Bond was the popular choice among the CEOs when asked about fictional characters. Surprisingly, these leadership quotes are spruced up with brands. Along with the Hummer and Lamborghini Diablo there was room for Davidoff cigars, electric screwdrivers along with brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Rado and Zeiter.

Added to these, each CEO has their own distinct idiosyncrasies with their own distinct dislikes about themselves. When asked about a vacation in the last 12 months, one CEO managed to holiday for a month. Given an extra hour one CEO claimed spending time talking to employees. When asked about the Dow both optimistic and pessimistic views were noticed. When asked about intelligent life beyond Earth a majority of propounded its existence. Added to this there were two extremes when it came to casual clothing. One CEO asserts casual clothing is not process efficient while some of them live in their jeans.

Marketing Olympics: 7 Through the Hoops Gymnastics

Filed under: Web Of Marketing — admin @ 10:26 am

Ancient Olympians were hoop jumpers. Making their way to Olympic gold by getting through the hoops to find success at the top. An online marketer works quite the same way, we often refer to our accomplishments as online Olympics. We manage to get past the official marketing Olympics on a daily basis by using Special Olympic Marketing Tools.

Marketing Guru, Jan Verhoeff, takes this process one step further by breaking the mold for Olympic Gold. 7 through the Hoops Gymnastics you can use to step up your marketing presence through the World Wide Olympics.

1. Keyword affiliations. How often do you think in keywords that are ‘popular at the moment’ and forget them a few months later? When a keyword opens up a new market - that spells success. Are you using that opportunity or letting it slide on by?

2. Gold line marketing. Does your product seek out successful achievers? Do you present your product as if you are a top achiever? Everyone wants the Gold - wrap your product in a shiny wrapper and present it well.

3. Historic repetitions. History repeats itself. Do you follow a prescribed method of marketing that works, or are you constantly recreating the wheel? When it works - use it. Duplication is a method that works. Just duplicate it better.

4. Specialized techniques. Are you working the broad line, or have you determined your specialty? Get your package together in the same box - a single niche market wrapped up for gold.

5. Competitive style. How do you greet your competitor? Is he your friend and neighbor? Can you invite him to a challenge and stay in the game? Know your competitor and stay in tune with what is winning.

6. Ethical compliance. Play by the rules. Nobody likes a cheater. When your product is the best, your service is top grade; you don’t have to cheat to get to the Gold. Maintain your integrity on the playing field.

7. Go for the Gold. Nothing says first class better than being the best at what you do. When you know you’re good, say it. Be willing to prove it - stand up and accept the awards you earn and announce your arrival at the top. Share your knowledge and accomplishments.

So, what exactly is Olympic Gold? Well, Olympic Gold is that top of the heap feeling of knowing you’ve accomplished something great, leading the heard to achievement, and knowing that you’re big enough to reach out and help someone else follow in your footsteps. Once you reach the top, don’t forget who you were before you got there.

Web DevelopersSell More Websites in the Next Week Than You Have in The Last Year?

Filed under: Sales Management — admin @ 9:13 pm

I’m going to give you a hint that I have used in my sales training classes for web developers that explodes their results

  • stop selling websites,

      • start selling “more customers” or “more leads.”

In every sales training class I’ve done my students STRUGGLE with the concept that they shouldn’t be selling their products or services, they should be selling what the customer really wants and then they have trouble finding what the customer really wants.

So, let’s think this through. Why does a prospect buy a website from you? Think hard.

Let’s look back at the thought process of a typical prospect. Most, at least in their head, have started thinking that a website will bring them leads or more clients. So, when someone approaches them to sell them a website, some, in their heads, are thinking, website = more leads. Other prospects haven’t even gotten that connection, but they STILL want more customers. So, help them make the connection.

Instead of selling the website, go sell more leads or more customers through the use of YOUR website, but you’d better be able to deliver on that promise, or you’ll be in trouble.

I had a web developer client that hired me to help him develop his internet marketing. The first thing we did was make sure that all of his search engine listings and his pay-per-click listings were talking about the number of new clients that a typical prospect has gotten from them. 2-3 weeks later they had jumped from a $300K business to a $1M business.

So, far so good, great as a matter of fact, $1M was their target when we started working together.

However, there was still a gap in their internet marketing. We had raised their traffic 3 times, and their bottom line 3 times. However, when we looked at the website, they were still using the old copy talking about their product. Their conversion of traffic to leads to buyer was 0.7%, not what I like to see for my clients. I want to see at least 5%.

So, we rewrote the website copy, this time talking about the number of new clients that others had gotten. We uploaded their new copy to the site. One hour later they had jumped from 9 clients a week to 13 in the last hour, a fantastic jump.

  • Stop selling websites.

    • Sell the results–more leads, more prospects, more customers,

        • Then help your website viewer find the value of those leads by telling them just how many your customers have gotten.

Your sales will go through the roof, guaranteed!

  • Email Marketing Done Right

Filed under: Web Of Marketing — admin @ 10:51 am

Moving Your Business Up, on the Up and Up

Email marketing is one of those buzz phrases that strikes a mixture of glee and trepidation all at once in the heart of most business owners and marketing departments. Email marketing and ezines have become all the latest excitement, providing the ability to reach a large number of clients with little more than the rattle of the keyboard and the click of a mouse. The power of this marketing tool and a successful email campaign can hardly be argued, but there are many issues of etiquette and responsibility that must be considered to keep your presentation from simply being listed as spam and quickly blocked away or deleted.

As you design your email marketing campaign it is a good idea to keep the following points in mind as part of how to make your campaign successful while still operating within the law and the expectation of your customers, or potential customers.

    - Signing up subscribers
    - Allowing for an opt-out
    - Legitimate contact information
    - Interesting and useful information and Non aggressive advertising
    - No cutting corners to bulk up your list

We’ll take a look at each of these points in detail, emphasizing the right ways to handle concerns and build your business.

    Signing up subscribers

No matter what type of email marketing campaign you’re planning, be it an ezine or simply a single page information blurb about a new shop grand opening, a mailing list with no one signed up to it is a pretty poor list. You may face the temptation to purchase email lists in bulk, but this is a temptation that should be avoided, as it may give you a lot of names, but of those only a slight fraction will have the interest in your product to actually open the email and read it. Better is to sign up people that you have personally met, or that have visited your off line store, if you have one, or your website. At either of these locations create a method for customers to sign up for your ezine or email updates. You’ll be surprised at how many people will do so, and you can send your information to them with the confidence that they will open and read what you send. Studies on mailing lists find that about twenty percent of the people on your mailing list will provide you eighty percent of the business you can expect to generate from that list. This percentage drops with an unfocused mailing list and rises with greater focus.

    Allowing for an opt-out

At the bottom of your ezine or advertising email always provide a link for those that wish to be removed from the mailing list. Most people won’t take advantage of this, but they will be comforted by having the option -to- opt out. This takes some of the pressure that advertising campaigns can cause off and makes a customer more likely to actually keep reading what you send out.

    Legitimate contact information

When sending out an advertising email or ezine make sure that to provide valid contact information to the customer. This serves several purposes, legitimizing your business and giving customers direct a way to contact you if they are interested in what you are advertising.

Useful information and Non Aggressive Advertising

Generally customers receiving an email expect the information to be more than just a sales pitch or jingle. They are looking for useful information that they can refer back to at a future time, or information in answer to questions they have asked. If your ad or ezine is nothing more than sales babble it is very likely to be discarded before more than the first line or two is ever read. The more legitimate and interesting the information you provide, the more likely your customers will read to the end, whether a short email, ezine or full email marketing campaign. In conjunction with the usefulness of your information it is best to present email advertising in a fashion that is inviting without being overly aggressive. Customers are accustomed to being blasted with ads on television and radio and dealing with pushy salespeople face to face. These are all mediums that are harder to shut out. With email or an ezine if the advertising strikes the customer as abrasive or overly pushy they will simply erase the message. The goal is to invite a customer into the sale, not push them.

    Don’t List Bulk

Many services exist that gather email addresses for sale using web bots, spiders and other such technologies. While it is tempting to purchase these products in order to increase your exposure it is generally best to resist this temptation and keep your email marketing focused to those that have interest in your product or have opted in on their own. This keeps you from annoying customers that don’t want to receive your emails, very important as complaints to your ISP can get your email server shut down for spamming. Being willing to be patient will pay off in the longer run.

With these points well in hand you’re on your way to creating a strong email marketing campaign. Make sure to give note to your design so it emphasizes encouraging advertising, bringing your product to your customers and assisting in the success of your business.

    Make Money Online!

Filed under: Web Of Marketing — admin @ 1:24 am

    What do surfers do?

What kind of question is that for an article titled, “Make Money Online?” It might sound even more crazy if you knew that I grew up on a farm in North Dakota - far from the ocean!

But I learned something about business and life, in general, by watching surfers. When a surfer is sitting on their board paddling gently out in the ocean, what are they really doing?

    Being lazy?

    Listeing to their IPod?

No way! They are watching for the next big wave!

A surfer is out there bobbing on their board watching the wave action and getting ready to get off their butt to ride the wave to shore!

That’s what surfers do…they catch the wave…the opportunity for a great ride!

I have a number of business pursuits currently in development, but recently I came across an opportunity that has inspired this article. The opportunity reminded me of the surfer.

How many times in life have you looked back and said, “if only?” Or what about, “If I would have known then what I know now!”

My wife and I invested in our first investment property about two years in Las Vegas - where we live. The real estate market was just beginning to soar here when the opportunity presented itself. We didn’t have a lot of time to think because if we didn’t buy the property my business partner at the time would have! We decided in about five minutes to do it! We were ready and we knew we had to get up on our “surf board” and ride the wave! (It was a great decision…quick but great!)

And, so, I ask you: are you like a surfer or do you just stand on life’s shore? It’s a tough one but one we all need to wrestle with.

OK, you ask, what about the “Make Money Online” part of the title. Well, that was the opportunity I got on board today. If you are interested click on the link below, but, more importantly I wanted you to think about becoming a surfer!

    What do surfers do?

    They ride the waves!

Nutritional Supplements - A Few Reality Checks

Filed under: Nutrition Info — admin @ 8:20 pm

Aside from big Pharma being on their anti-nutritional supplement kick, there is another dark side to the supplement business that needs to have a little exposure. How often have we heard the comment “it’s natural so it’s safe?” Well, deadly nightshade and poisonous mushrooms are natural but I wouldn’t eat either so that nonsensical comment about natural being safer should be thrown to the wolves.

There are other issues in the supplement industry that need to be exposed as well. A number of the problems stem from multi-level companies which tout their products as being the best things in the world and that they will answer all of your health needs if you just sign up and buy their products. One such company touts that they have over 90 minerals in their multivitamin/multimineral supplement and that this will bring incredible vitality to all who use it. Well, I’m here to give you the old, “buyer beware” warning. If you think mercury, cadmium, aluminum, and arsenic are essential to health, then by all means buy the gunk. If you know otherwise like most of us do, then you’ll avoid that overpriced toxic soup like the plague.

When I argued with one of the shills from this multilevel company and pointed out the fact that their product contained poisonous heavy metals, he proclaimed loudly that “they were organic heavy metals and therefore safe.” When I pressed further and noted that the claim he made was absolute rubbish and total nonsense because organic heavy metals still posed a health threat he responded with the comment that “God put it on earth so it has to be safe.” He then accused me of being anti-God which took me aback because the last time I heard that kind of reasoning was when I was in elementary school.

The other problem with many of these products is their incredible expense. You’ve got to pay all of those downline distributors so the retail price of the products they hawk have to be exorbitant to start with. Best to go to your local health food store and buy a high quality multivitamin (capsules not tableted) and save yourself a lot of money and aggravating sales pitches from the salesmen.

7 Ways To Organize Yourself For Taxes

Filed under: Financing — admin @ 1:26 am

Don’t let your accountant organize your receipts for taxes.
You and only you are responsible to the IRS if your receipts
are not categorized correctly. Take your time, lay out your
reciepts, and place them in the category you think they
belong in. Attach each category to a sheet, list the
category at the top of the sheet, list each item on each
sheet and why it is deductible.

    1. Make two categories–Business and Home

You should have two sheets, one with Business written the
top and one with Home written at the top. Place your
business file in front of your home file and your personal
file in front of your personal file. List all of the
categories you can think of and you see on the list of a
    typical schedule

    2. Sub Caterorize your Business and Home Titles

Place several sheets on top of the Business sheet and
several on top of the personal sheet. Write down each
category that applies to Business and each that applies to
Home on each sheet. Take each sheet from your Business
category and one from your Home category and place
    sub-category on them.

    3. Your Groups of Receipts

Remove your receipts from your accordian file you have
stored all year. Attach the receipts that belong to each
Business sheet sub-category, you should have several sheets
with Business at the top and the sub-category. Do the same
    with your Personal deductions.

    5. Research Your Deductions

Research and read up at the IRS website to find out any and
all possibilities you have for tax deductions. Copy and
paste that sheet to sub-category. You can also find
potential tax deducations on the actual tax forms provided
to you by the IRS, find those on the IRS website at irs.gov.

    6. You and your accountant

Make sure your accountant understands what you have done and you understand what he or she has done. Discuss your tax
deductions with your accountant. You are ultimatley
responsible for everything that goes on your tax forms.

    7. The Importance of Honest Tax Preparation

It still amazes me how many business professionals do not
understand the importance of honesty in tax preparation. It
is very easy to get caught submitting dishonest tax
information, and you may not be caught for years to come.

Investment Real Estate Made Easy - Make the Most from Each Investment Dollar

Filed under: Online Real Estate Resources — admin @ 12:57 am

When it comes to buying investment real estate, there are many schools of thought on how to get the most out of your money. Some say lease optioning your houses is the best and safest way to go. In fact, I believe this to be true in many cases. For getting the most out of each investment dollar, though, and seeing a quick return, I believe that it is best to find property that you can rehab and resell.

Many people have tried this strategy and failed. Let me tell you why this is. Anyone can make money buying investment real estate, fixing it up and reselling it, as long as he or she understands how to buy and how to sell. This is the key. The people who fail in the rehab strategy of investment real estate fail because they know everything about rehabbing but nothing about buying and selling.

The real money is made by carefully evaluating the entire transaction. This includes looking at what the investment property will bring on the back end, or on the sale. Now, when you find a prospective investment property to buy and rehab, be sure to look at your profit after all of our money is spent.

I would never consider a deal that I couldn’t make at least 40 percent above my purchase price and all I’ve put into it. So, if I pay $40,000, put in $10,000, I want to sell my investment property for at least $60,000. If I can do this in one month, I’m happy, as long as I’m not splitting my profit with too many parties. Even if I have a partner or two, a quick $10,000 in one month is fine, as long as I have another deal going at the same time.

Now, if you want to move your properties quickly, and a month is not a reasonable time, you might consider combining two strategies - buying investment real estate for the purpose of rehabbing and quickly lease optioning the property. From there, you can move on to your next purchase.
