The Definition Of Asset Management

Filed under: Financing — admin @ 10:04 pm

Many of you have probably heard the term “asset management” Before, but you may not have an idea of what it really is. Asset management is a broad term. It can be defined as a process that guides the gaining of assets, along with their use and disposal in order to make the most of the assets and their potential throughout the life of the assets. While doing this, it also manages and maintains any costs and risks associated with the assets. It is not something you can buy, but rather a discipline you must follow in order to maintain your assets.

Asset Management can be used for a variety of things. Most use asset management to keep track of their cash or “liquid assets.” Banking institutions are considered a form of asset management (savings accounts, CD’s, mutual funds, money market accounts, etc.) along with investments. Another example of assets: businesses often have a product to sell. These products are considered assets. The right asset management system can be utilized to make the product more readily available, easier to produce, cheaper to ship to customers, etc.

Asset Management Resource:
Tracking and insuring the product is also a way of asset managagemant. The product is an asset to the business and essential for its survival and for financial stability. So, maintaining and managing this product is of the up most importance.

There is another type of asset that many people do not think of when they think of the term “asset management.” This asset has to do with public and shared assets such as: the building and maintaining of streets, highways, water treatment facilities, sewage, electricity, natural gas, clean air, etc. All of these are assets that everyone on this earth needs. Usually, your city or local government uses asset management to maintain the cost of these assets.

They also use it to produce some of these assets more effectively and in a more cost efficient manner. Natural resources such as: water, electricity, and natural gas are managed so that they can be renewed constantly and thus available inexpensively.

Asset Management Resource:

There are many different means of asset management. It often depends on what type of asset is involved. There are companies and software products available to assist in asset management. Whatever method you choose, there are many similar things that your asset manager system should entail:

1. Optimize asset use and manage all maintenance efforts involved by
making assets as accurate, reliable, and efficient as possible.

2. Reducing the demand for new assets and thus save money by using demand management techniques and maintaining current assets.

3. Uses a form of asset tracking: knowing where the asset is at all times, how much the asset is worth, and how much the asset cost you to begin with. It should also incorporate this throughout the entire life of the asset.

4. Always tries to achieve greater value for money through evaluating the asset options: the cost of maintaining, producing, the use of it, etc.

5. Always provides a report on the value of the assets, along with any costs involved in maintaining the assets.

Hopefully you now have a better understanding of the many forms of asset management. There are so many different things that can be defined as assets, thus there are so many different means of asset management. Now that you understand it a bit, you can decide what your assets are and how you can maintain them better in order for them to be more advantageous for you!

Read this Article if You Want to Be Wealthy

Filed under: Hall Of Investment — admin @ 9:30 pm

If you are reading this article there are only two reasons, either you want to be wealthy of you are an investigative regulator working at the FTC and you are targeting American small businesses and Biz Op type Internet sellers. If you are regulator you wasting your time, as the purpose of this article is not to sell anything but rather educate, but perhaps you might learn something so either way read on. If you want to be wealthy I have some advice, which you may wish to think on.

Wealth is something that most Americans want because it gives us options in life, allowing us to pursue our interests without being over burdened by the stresses of the common man in our civilization. One interesting thing I find with people who desire wealth is they do not respect money. They often desire to be wealthy yet condemn the haves as unjustly exerting their control over the have nots. Additionally they do not respect the hard work it takes to accumulate wealth and piss away the money they make on superfluous material items, things they really do not need, yet buy anyway on impulse. Such instant gratification seeking is exactly what is keeping you from getting there. Indeed so many folks these days have huge credit card debt and charge up a storm on all kinds of consumer items always wanting the latest new trendy thing.

You need to break yourself of these bad habits and perhaps go pick up a copy of the “Millionaire Next Door” and read through it and the examples therein to see if all this starts to make sense to you, then you need to come up with a strategic plane to help yourself into a better situation so you can become wealthy too. Think on this.

The Value of A Mom: From, The HomeSchool Chronicles

Filed under: Tuition Resources — admin @ 9:45 pm

One day Matthew, my four-year-old, demonstrated just how much mothers are often under-appreciated nowadays. He came into the kitchen and informed me in a matter-of-fact tone, that he wished I would die–but he liked me a little because I gave him food and drinks. Feeling a bit daunted by four-year-old honesty (or should I say brutality?) I replied, “Well, I’m glad you like me a little, because I love you A LOT!”

By bedtime, he had softened towards me. As I tucked him in, he held up his two hands with fingers outstretched and said “Mom, I’m going to love you for this many days.” I smiled (he didn’t notice the tongue-in-cheek) and said “Wow! You’re gonna love me for ten whole days?!” He nodded, smiling happily and was soon off to dreamland.

I tend to take statements like these from my young children with nary a blink–but honestly, aren’t we mothers often given a bad rap? For this reason, I’ve decided to give moms everywhere a Mother’s Day present: two stories which pay tribute to good old Mom.

First is one about Ben Johnson, the famed black physician. Dr. Johnson is noted for making brilliant ground-breaking advances in his field of pediatric surgery, but interestingly, early in his academic career he was perceived as a failure.

As a youngster in public school, he was not considered bright, and his grades were low. He attributes his eventual success to one thing: his mother. (Don’t you just love this kind of story?) His mother, surprisingly, was illiterate, but she possessed an abundance of two important ingredients: faith and love. She had the love to consistently place her boys before the throne of grace by prayer, and the faith to believe in them, despite daunting report cards.

Although she herself could not read, she required both her sons to write two book reports a week. It was this sole requirement, coupled with prayer and the firm conviction that her boys could succeed, that turned things around for Johnson. Soon he was at the top of his class–and now he is at the top of his field!

Benjamin West, the famous American painter, also attributed a great deal to his mother. This is how he described what made him a painter: “One day his mother left him with his sister Sally. He found some bottles of colored ink and decided to paint Sally’s portrait. In the process he messed up the kitchen. When his mother returned, she said nothing about the kitchen. Picking up the paper he was working on, she exclaimed, ‘Why, it’s Sally!’ And she rewarded his effort with a kiss. West said, ‘My mother’s kiss that day made me a painter.’”*

Inspiring stories, no? As mothers, we share the same ability to influence our children to be their best. It’s really no less than astonishing, the degree to which we can make a difference in young lives!

Are your children disappointing you in an academic area? Pray for them. Believe in them. Are they troublesome in any way at all? Love them. As someone has said, “Love them most when they least deserve it.” And, if that fails to improve things, (but it won’t), you can always begin requiring two book reports a week!

Happy Mother’s Day, moms. You deserve it.

Gaming Notebooks To Turn Mobile And Slick

Filed under: Technometer — admin @ 10:23 pm

There has been a big obsession for laptop computers lately. I just scared that like last year we will have problems getting our hands on the latest technology too. It seems like once there are backlogs those will only escalate because demand for laptops is not diminishing at all. It’s a market which is also tough to keep up with it respect of of technology because its shifting all the time.

Gaming laptops are one of the sectors that have seen growing interest. I feel gaming laptops have never been cheaper. You can hunt down some extremely good offers out there that will get you playing games. In my opinion laptops are reasonably good for gaming. Processing power is much advanced than before. These days the vast amount of gaming laptops are not even big, chunky and noisy. Performance of computers should infinitely be a mile ahead of laptops but its still encouraging to see. It will be exciting to see what gaming portables come out in the future and how tiny they can manufacture them.

I feel we are seeing greater amounts of start-up companies exclusively dealing in custom built laptops. With popular manufacturers you usually don’t have a clue what they put into the system. In the majority cases you can ask for all the primary components you desire and this is best suited to gamers, professional and hardcore users. Many of the notebook computers found in retail stores are made to grab the most market share and not the small niche sectors. Custom laptops give a fix to this. You can a plethora of companies who supply direct so there are a lot of alternatives as well. Yet again another point to custom built laptops.

I can’t wait to see what notebooks are released next. So far it seems as though low cost portables are the popular item. A whole new niche has been created overnight it seems. People would like to have big screen umpc’s if that sounds right. This is something that can be produced even today if we forget about power. Consumer trends indicate that gaming laptops will become more mobile in the next few years. Though laptop technology follows roadmaps there is forever going to be a gadget that transforms all that.

I have found what I feel are the best laptop computers.

6 Killer Outsourcing Secrets to Save You Time and Make You More Money

Filed under: Software Tips — admin @ 9:25 pm

Early on my online business career, I was a jack-of-all-trades.

  • I was the webmaster

  • The telemarketer
  • The banker
  • The accountant
  • The copywriter
  • The traffic specialist
  • The butcher
  • The baker
  • The candlestick maker
  • And on and on it went

If it needed to get done, I had to do it, as I was a Solo-Preneur, a one man money making machine.

Then I learned how other successful people were saving time, making more money and having more fun than I was. The secret to their ‘leveraged’ lives was outsourcing.

They had webmasters, copywriters, sales staff, virtual assistants, secretaries, and so on.

Instead of working so hard IN their businesses, they were now ON their business, freed up to dream up and implement new product ideas and create new revenue streams.

In my online experience, I have found 6 killer outsourcing techniques that have saved me time and help me make a lot of money. I would like to share them with you in hopes that you will benefit from them like I have.

1. Outsource Secret #1 - Use 24 Hour Recorded Message Lines

Do you have a lot of people calling you, asking you the same questions over and over, that a website explains? What if people cannot get online? I create 24 hr recorded message lines where people can dial in, even if it’s 2:43 am and they can get educated robotically and elegantly about my company, offers or specials.

Real Estate Agents can use this for updated home listings and showings, put the 24 hour message on the back of a business card, with a shocking headline, so people will call it.

Mine reads:

“Discover how a 35 year old former youth pastor from Minnesota earned over $700,000 in less than two years, and how he goes on vacations saving up to 75% off without coming home broke! Free 24 hr rec. message - 866-486-7465.”

Network Marketers also use 24 hour lines to talk about their company, product and compensation plans instead of having to do one on one presentations.

2. Outsource Secret #2 - Hire a Webmaster/Site Designer

I used to make my own sites, and I had to figure it all out by trial and error, many hours of frustrations.

Don’t you hate it when you get the site all finished, but there is one quirk that is keeping you from publishing it because you have an error in your code or shopping cart, which you cannot figure out how to fix?

You can’t publish until it’s fixed and you begin to panic!

I have been down that road too many times, and it kept me from launching my sites on time.

When I learned this outsource secret the companies I used got my sites keyword optimized, submitted and found in the engines.

The did the design work and coding, I just wrote the copy to be on the site.

I have over 20 #1 listings now with certain keywords related to my niche market.

3. Outsource Secret #3: Hire a Virtual Assistant to Work for You

This one is an amazing time saver.

I used to answer all my own calls and now I delegate/outsource to a team of virtual assistants who handle all my phone work for me.

They do customer support, give out information, and even help by doing a little over the phone selling for me too.

At about $15-25 an hour, Virtual Assistants, don’t get paid by the hour, they get paid by the minute, as an independent contractor, so you don’t pay them taxes, employee benefits, or insurance/health care. What a money saver and time saver, and guess what? You are not ripping them off doing it this way as that is how the Virtual Assistant Niche markets itself to people like you so they can get business.

4. Outsource Secret #4: Use Outsourcing Network Sites & Communities

Ever heard of the “lance.com” sites. Like elance, freelance, writerlance etc.?

These website groups do a lot of busy work for you at great low prices which you arrive at through a reverse auction.

You tell people your project, whether you need a script made, software made, or a program, and then someone will tell you how much they will do it for, and usually the lowest priced bidder will win, and build your project or service for you, and you keep the master rights, like you built it yourself.

Many of the top internet marketing money makers outsource all their projects this way.

5. Outsource Secret #5: Hire a Customer Service Division

Many solo-preneurs, or small business owners are swamped with customer support and answering questions which take them away from the important tasks like dreaming up new products and services.

Why not outsource your customer support with companies like Kayako.

Do a Google search for “outsource customer support” and you’ll get a ton of listings from great companies eager to serve you and act as an extension of your one man show and make you look like a fortune 500 company.

With some minimal training, they can be answering support emails and building knowledge bases for you to answer your company’s frequently most asked questions.

Outsource Secret #6: Create Your Own Affiliate Program

The days of the one man salesman are over.

Many people earn a living online who don’t have websites of their own.

They are affiliates, and they are marketers who know how to penetrate niche markets with messages that get read, and create buyers for YOUR products.

Affiliates bring buyers to your sites for you.

Create a program where you pay affiliates 50% or whatever you think is fair and they will sell your product, advertise, and create sales for you. You will not need an advertising budget now.

So, here are 6 simple outsourcing techniques that when followed, can most definitely save you time, save you frustration, and help you make more money with less effort. Delegate your business from the outhouse and work your way up to the penthouse.

Brilliant Autumn: Reaping a Bounteous Harvest

Filed under: The New Age Web — admin @ 4:52 pm

“But if in your thought you must measure time into
seasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons, And let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing.”

- Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931)

The low afternoon sun cast soft rays through a cool October breeze. Tall maples filled the park with fiery shades of orange and gold. These colorful trees conveyed feelings of strength and peace.

Two children darted across a carpet of crackling leaves. They shouted gleefully, pretending to be a prince and princess. They were filled with the bubbly joy of anticipation that children feel during the spring time of life.

At the same time, the brilliant maples reminded me that autumn can be filled with anticipation of beauty and strength. In all seasons of life, there are wonderful treasures to expect.

What will happen between the spring and autumn of your life? What will you do to experience the peaceful strength and fruitful harvests that an inspired life brings?

One of the first things we can do is sow good-quality seeds of faith and action. We can gain skills and knowledge. Then we can keep those skills sharp and polished by continuing to learn.

The seasons have no lack of time; each is balanced within a cycle of birth, growth and rest. Likewise, the only time we lack is that which we fail to use for worthwhile purposes.

Each of us have different priorities and degrees of discipline for balancing the use of time. When we say yes to one thing, we say no to something else.

The harvest will arrive in due season whether bounteous or lean. It can bring satisfaction of a job well done. It can convey contentment and strength as life prepares to rest, anticipating another spring time.

Ask yourself, “What seeds will I sow today that will yield a bounteous harvest? What will I say “yes” to today?

If you sow quality seeds of thought, faith, and action today, your harvest can be plentiful, and the autumn foliage brilliant. May your autumns bring all the joy, strength, and prosperity that you’ve ever wanted!

Wishing you blessings and success!

Try a Dildo for a Lovely Orgasm with your Yummy Partner

Filed under: Shopping Resources — admin @ 8:24 am

Some men have a tough time keeping a hard pecker and some girls have remarkably long sex drives, meaning it takes the chick a really long time to climax Because of this difference in sex drives, sex intercourse may turn into an annoying and undesirable sexual session. That’s why huge dildos can be helpful. If the gent shoots early in the game, or even if the lady just takes longer than her lover, he can continue to penetrate the girl with the dildo. That way all sexual mischief does not have to end. It gives the gent time to recharge his stamina and helps the gal aroused. Therefore when he’s set to come back into the love making session, the lady will still be aroused enough to accept him.

Your very most sensual field is your thoughts. And as significantly as legions of girls won’t admit this, the penis is a focus of fertility, no matter how massive or small, it is still associated with fertility. Penetrating your girl with a huge dildo might well make a fantasy of power play reality. Sex Toys come in all shapes and sizes, check them out!

Some individuals delight in the sensation of feeling full in their vagina or anus. Whenever a sex aid such as a huge dildo, penetrates the vagina or back passage, the muscles contract around it. Innumerable females notice the tightening of all of these muscles to be extensively enjoyable.

Your First Steps To Becoming A Writer

Filed under: Publishing — admin @ 5:30 am

What’s the first step to becoming a writer? You’d think it would be “write”, but it’s not. In speaking to other writers and from what I know of my own journey to becoming a writer, I’ve come to realize that the biggest obstacle for new writers is that they don’t think of themselves as writers. They have trouble developing the belief that they are writers and yet it’s something you have to do. When you haven’t developed that belief, that conviction, it becomes a source of sabotage–you don’t value your work enough to give it the time and the space it needs. How do you come to think of yourself as a writer, especially when you’re not earning a paycheck as a writer? Here are a few tips:

What Happens When You Write?

If you want to be a writer, I’m assuming you feel you have something to say and a strong desire to say it. You may not know how you’re going to say it or in what form (poetry, novel, essay, etc.) but you know something is there. Okay, you pick up your pencil or pen or you sit down to your computer or typewriter. Write something. Whatever you write, just make sure your heart is in it. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t have to be neat. It does have to be expressive.

Next, as painful as it may be, you have to show this writing to someone. It can be a friend, it can be a family member. Then, pay attention to what happens. Did the person reading your work cry, laugh or get angry? If so, you did that! It means you can have an effect with your writing. It’s worth something. You have to keep going!

A teenager recently wrote to me concerned because she’s writing fiction and she’s worried her mother will read it and get upset because she thinks it’s stuff the teenager really did. On the one hand, that is a bummer to have to explain yourself to your mother, but on the other hand–wow, that means the young lady’s work is believeable and effective. That kind of feedback is hard to ignore. It’s powerful motivation to keep you going–if you take the time to notice and honor that it’s happening. I once had a writer say to me, “I don’t know if my stuff is any good. I just know that when people read it, they cry.” I told her you can’t get a message any clearer than that kind of response. Now she just has to listen to it.

Cultivate Silence

If you’re having trouble thinking about what it is you have to say, it may help you to spend some time each day in silence. Some writers pray. Some meditate. The idea is to get used to clearing your brain space and tuning in to your inner voice. You’ll also be more aware of those little scraps of possibility floating around in your head that can later grow into big ideas.

What Do You Want to Write? Experiment!

It’s okay if you don’t know what you want to write about. It may take a long time journaling for you to see what keeps coming up for you. And it may take longer to find the form that fits you best. I went from poetry to essays to long-form letter writing before I settled on fiction. It took me years to do that. It doesn’t mean I won’t do anything else in those genres, but what I’m doing right now just fits. I encourage you to experiment until you find the form that suits your writing best.

Continually Remind Yourself You Are a Writer

As you develop your belief that you’re a writer, it’s helpful to set up reminders that will jog you back to that brain space that you need to be in to write. When you sit down to write it’s easy to get distracted and starting thinking about doing laundry or what’s for dinner. You’ll want to have something either on your desk or on the wall in front of you that reminds you to get back to work and that you are a writer.

It might be your list of values that remind you that writing is a part of who you are. It may be simple words such as CREATE or INSPIRE. Isabel Allende, who writes beautiful, historical novels will sit in her office with photos around her, old photos of people who essentially represent her characters so she’s surrounded by them. That puts her back into the brain space of her book because she is sitting in their world; these people are all around her.
